Chemical Management for Textile and Leather Assemblers

The Chemical Management for Textile and Leather Assemblers course is an advanced-level program based on the digitized Suppliers Roadmap to Zero. It is specifically designed for textile and leather assembler facilities that operate cut-make-trim (CMT) or assembly processes without chemical-intensive manufacturing. The course focuses on strengthening Chemical Management Systems (CMS) at the facility level, covering key areas such as chemical inventory awareness, MRSL conformance, risk identification, waste handling, and basic monitoring practices relevant to assembly operations.

Delivered by NimkarTek through the NOTES e-learning platform in the form of 4 comprehensive e-learning courses, the program combines technical topics, real-life case studies, scenarios, practical examples, and interactive activities to ensure effective learning and application.

Participants will gain actionable insights to improve compliance, minimize environmental impact, and drive continuous improvement in Chemical Management Systems (CMS) within textile and leather assembly facilities.

The course is fully online and self-paced, allowing learners to begin at their convenience and progress according to their schedule.

Learners must possess at least one of the following certificates to enroll in this course:

1. Chemical Management Fundamentals course certificate.
2. Chemical Management Fundamentals – Exam only certificate.
3. A valid certificate from any one of the courses: CMS TIG Training, CMS TIG Refresher Training or Top 10 Best Practices.

Participants who do not hold any of the above prerequisites will not be eligible to enroll in this training course. Learners are required to upload the relevant certificate during the sign-up process for verification.

IMPORTANT – Registration Process

1. Sign up on the ZDHC Academy platform.
2. Login to the NOTES platform and purchase the training using a Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer. (Please note: the ZDHC certification fee is included in the training charges.)
3. Launch the training through the “My Courses” tab on the NOTES platform. Participants are required to complete the training within 30 days from the launch date.
4. Complete the final exam on the ZDHC Academy (Maximum 2 attempts; benchmark score: 75%).
5. Upon successfully passing the exam, obtain the certificate from the ZDHC Academy.
