Chemical Management for Textile and Leather Assemblers

1. Description:

• The Chemical Management for Textile and Leather Assemblers course is specifically designed for assembler facilities in the textile and leather industries, based on the digitized Suppliers Roadmap to Zero.
• This is an advanced-level course that helps companies understand, implement, and strengthen chemical management systems at their facilities, aiming to comply with ZDHC requirements and achieve sustainable development.
• The course is suitable for suppliers with assembling or cut-make-trim (CMT) operations, but without chemical-intensive manufacturing processes.

2. Target Audience:

• Textile apparel assemblers (CMT)
• Textile accessories and trims assemblers
• Home furnishing assemblers
• Leather apparel assemblers (CMT)
• Leather accessories and trims assemblers (Note: If you do not fall under the above categories, you are advised to consider other suitable courses or contact us for further consultation.)

• Overview of chemical management systems for assembler facilities
• Introduction to Suppliers Roadmap to Zero
• Role of chemical management in the supply chain
• Implementation of chemical management systems at facility level
• Application of ZDHC requirements in non-chemical-intensive environments

4. Prerequisite:

• Participants must have at least one of the following certificates:
  • Chemical Management Fundamentals course certificate
  • Chemical Management Fundamentals Exam only certificate
• A valid certificate of one of the following courses:
  • CMS TIG Training
  • CMS TIG Refresher Training
  • Top 10 Best Practices (Note: Participants are required to submit the relevant certificate during registration. Those who do not meet the prerequisites will not be accepted into the course.)
