Course description

  1. Description:
  • The Chemical Management for Footwear Manufacturers course is designed for footwear manufacturing facilities, based on the digitized Suppliers Roadmap to Zero.
  • This is an advanced-level course aimed at helping companies understand, implement, and strengthen chemical management systems at their facilities.
  • The course is suitable for suppliers manufacturing leather and/or synthetic footwear, using chemicals in their processes and potentially treating and discharging wastewater. Some facilities may have discharge volumes below the threshold of <15 m³/day.
  • Applicable target groups include:
    • Leather footwear assemblers
    • Synthetic footwear assemblers
    • Vertically integrated leather footwear manufacturers (including leather tanning processes)
    • Vertically integrated synthetic footwear manufacturers (including coating processes for synthetic materials) (Note: If you do not fall under the above categories, you are advised to consider other suitable courses or contact us for further consultation.)
