The ZDHC Wastewater Management is a training program designed to improve your understanding of Wastewater Management and the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines Document.

TRAINING METHODOLOGY:

NimkarTek’s Online Training on ZDHC Wastewater Management, aims to provide increased knowledge and understanding regarding Wastewater Treatment processes, along with guidance and tips for conformance to ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines.

The training is delivered entirely ONLINE via the E-Learning Platform, NOTES. The Training Curriculum is in the form of 3 Interactive Training courses, each with a duration of approximately 30-45 minutes.

The Technical content is interspersed with Activities, Quizzes, Downloadable Resource Materials and Case Studies.

Please note - Since the training is NOT a Webinar, it can be accessed at any time through the NOTES Platform.

The course is self-paced and online so it is entirely up to the participant to manage their own time to ensure they finish the course content within 30 days from the ‘Launch’ of the First Course.

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The Training is divided into 3 Training Courses –

Course 1 – ZDHC and ZDHC Guidelines Course 2 – Wastewater Testing and Conformance Course 3 – Effluent Treatment Plan Management .

After completing the course, you will have knowledge about:

1. ZDHC, including its mission, vision, approach and tools.
2. The latest ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines, including Sampling and Testing Requirements
3. Sludge Disposal Pathways
4. Sampling Requirements in accordance with the ZDHC Wastewater Guidelines
5. Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plan
6. Commonly Available Wastewater Treatment Technology
7. Call for Action, including the use of the ZDHC Gateway Wastewater Module and Future Complementary Webinars

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

1. Learners should register on the ZDHC Academy
2. NimkarTek will send you your NOTES Platform Login Credentials
3. Learners should login to the NOTES Platform and purchase 'ZDHC Wastewater Management' Course using a Credit Card or through a Bank Transfer.
4. You can ‘Launch’ the training courses from the 'My Courses' tab on the NOTES Platform.
5. Once you complete the Training courses, NimkarTek will update your status on the ZDHC Academy. You will need to take the Exam on the ZDHC Academy within 6 weeks after purchasing the course on the NOTES platform. You have 2 attempts,
6. On successful completion, you will be awarded a Certificate from the ZDHC Academy.
7. In order to get the best out of this Program, participants are also expected to complete all activities such as Activities, Exercises and Case Studies.

The learners have either completed the course Chemical Management in the Textile Industry; have proven knowledge, or an operational background in Chemical Management in the Textile, Footwear or Leather Industry.
