VIGNESH AMALRAJ

Vignesh Amalraj, Country Manager of OETI India, is an experienced OEKO-TEX® STeP auditor with 15 years of hands-on experience in evaluating and verifying systems for Chemical Management, Environmental Performance, Social Responsibility, Quality Management, and Health and Safety. He was also a qualified Higg FEM Trainer and Higg FEM Verifier (Chemical Specialist) during his previous roles.

Ruma Chakrabarti

Dr. Ruma Chakrabarti is the Deputy Country Manager of OETI in India. She holds a PhD from the Institute of Chemical Technology, one of the premier institutes in India. With over 25 years of experience across various portfolios in the textile value chain, she has worked in research, teaching, textile mills, and dyes and chemical manufacturing. She has published around 20 national and international papers and presented 10 papers at international platforms. Dr. Chakrabarti has been actively working with the textile value chain in India and Sri Lanka, helping industries understand and implement ZDHC requirements and establish timelines for implementation. She has also supported chemical manufacturers in complying with MRSL requirements and ensuring conformance in their day-to-day business activities.

Pipit Hayati

Pipit is TESTEX General Manager - Indonesia with over 18 years expertise in sustainability for textile and leather industries. Also play role as an OEKO-TEX® STeP auditor with 10 years of hands-on experience in evaluating and verifying systems for Chemical Management, Environmental Performance, Social Responsibility, Quality Management, and Health and Safety. With over 700 hours of experience as a speaker across trainings, seminars, webinars, and podcasts, Pipit shares expertise with diverse audiences, helping shape sustainable practices in the textile industry. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Chemistry and a Mini MBA from Binus University, Pipit combines technical knowledge with strategic insights for impactful solutions.

James Shi

Have over 15 years of experience in the chemical management, environmental sustainability in textile industry. Deeply committed to driving positive change in the industry through responsible chemical management and sustainable practices.
Hold a master’s degree in applied chemistry and have been actively involved in implementing ZDHC guidelines and supporting organizations in their journey toward achieving MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List) compliance. My expertise includes hazardous substance risk control, wastewater management, chemical inventory tracking, sustainability reporting, or training and capacity building.
As a ZDHC Academy Trainer, my goal is to empower professionals and organizations with the knowledge and tools needed to adopt sustainable practices, reduce environmental impact, and meet global standards.
