The in-person Climate Action Training offered on the ZDHC Academy Platform is a tutor-guided training, following up on the Climate Action Training e-learning which is available on the Atingi Platform from GIZ. The overarching objective of the Climate Action Training is to help achieve the industry’s climate ambitions and transition suppliers to a low-carbon business model.
The in-person Climate Action Training dives deep into the topic of climate change and provides garment, textile and footwear manufacturers with knowledge on the impact of the industry on climate change, energy efficiency and renewable energy, as well as practical expertise on greenhouse gases, GHG accounting and target setting.

The training provides garment, textile, and footwear manufacturers with basic knowledge of climate change, the impact of the fashion industry on climate, energy efficiency, and renewable energy, as well as practical expertise on greenhouse gases and GHG accounting.
