ECO-FEI is the first ZDHC Approved Solution Provider in Egypt and the North African region. The Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Development Office (ECO) was established within the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 64 of 2001. ECO’s mission is to promote sustainable development practices within Egyptian industry and to support manufacturers in adopting circular economy approaches, technologies, and business models. Through its work, ECO seeks to: Encourage industrial compliance with national environmental legislation. Promote environmentally sound investments. Improve occupational health and safety conditions within enterprises Create new investment and export opportunities for industrial stakeholders In addition, ECO actively collaborates with relevant ministries, donor agencies, development institutions, consultancy firms, and FEI member companies. These partnerships enable ECO to effectively support Egyptian industry in advancing sustainable development methods and the adoption of environmentally responsible technologies.
