Our Partnership with amfori

ZDHC and amfori have collaborated to develop the amfori Chemical Management in Fashion Module (CMF), to address the challenges related to chemical management in a company’s supply chains and improve sustainable chemical management within the textile and footwear sectors. The CMF module replaces amfori BEPI’s previous Chemical Management Audit (CMA), creating a direct link between the amfori Sustainability platform and the ZDHC Gateway. The collaboration eliminates the confusion, duplication, and fatigue caused by using two separate systems.

Now available is the e-Learning Chemical Management in Fashion. Offered in English, this course supports amfori members in understanding Sustainable Chemical Management and implementing a comprehensive Sustainable Chemical Management Framework."

The training, developed by amfori, aims to provide information about new Chemical Management features on the amfori Sustainability Platform. It explains the data-sharing agreement between ZDHC and amfori and outlines how to access reports summarising chemical management data obtained from ZDHC. Members will also learn their responsibilities regarding access to ZDHC platform data and how to maximise the benefits of these new features. The E-learning does not have a time limit; therefore, members can follow at their own pace.

The collaboration between amfori and ZDHC will enable amfori members to alleviate audit fatigue and associated costs while tackling challenges related to chemical management. This partnership aims to enhance sustainability and chemical management practices across global supply chains in the textile and footwear sectors.

The training is only available for amfori members and business partners and accessible via: amfori Academy
