Modint Academy is the educational branch of Modint, the industry association for the fashion, interior, carpet, and textile sectors. Our primary focus is on preserving and enhancing craftsmanship within these industries by offering specialised training programs.

We provide a wide range of sector-specific courses, including digital modules available for purchase through our web shop. Our mission is to support companies in securing a sustainable future by promoting lifelong learning and continuous professional development. Through our tailored training programs, we help businesses and professionals stay ahead in an ever-evolving industry.

Our target audience are mainly the workers in the companies on different levels. But anyone who wants to learn something about textile is able to join a workshop or module. For some of the courses a branch certificate is possible. Modint Academy


Courses on offer

ZDHC and Modint Academy have joined in organising a chemical training for workers in the companies. The workshop is about Wet Processes & Sustainable Chemical Management

Are you interested in learning more about wet processing and the safe, environmentally responsible use of chemicals in the production chain? Join one of our workshops and learn more about understanding wet processes in the industry. In the textile industry, several wet processes have a significant environmental impact, such as washing, dyeing, and printing. These processes affect product safety, clean water, and air quality.

The workshop about Responsible Chemical Management in the Production Chain is concluded with a test. Upon passing you receive a ZDHC Certificate. During this workshop, we will cover:

  • Implementation of the MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List)
  • Chemical Management System (CMS) according to ZDHC standards
  • Chemical Inventory List (CIL) and its importance
  • ZDHC Technical Industry Guidelines (TIG)
  • Wastewater treatment and regulatory guidelines
  • ZDHC tools, including Supplier to Zero (S2Z), InCheck (CI), and ChemCheck
  • ZDHC in relation to other initiatives such as SAC and LWG
