ZDHC Chemical Management Fundamentals Training

The Chemical Management Fundamentals Training, developed by Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC), is designed to provide a foundational understanding of sustainable chemical management for manufacturing facilities, brands, suppliers, and individuals.

The introductory level training introduces learners to essential concepts required to reduce chemical risks, support regulatory and brand compliance, and promote safer and more responsible production environments across the supply chain.

NimkarTek delivers the CMS Fundamentals training through its e-learning platform, NOTES, in the form of three interactive online courses.

1. Course 1: Introducing ZDHC and the Suppliers Roadmap to Zero.
2. Course 2: Understanding Restricted Substances - RSL and MRSL.
3. Course 3: Fundamentals of GHS and SDS.

The training integrates real-life industry scenarios and practical examples, helping participants understand how chemical management principles apply directly to day-to-day operations within manufacturing environments. Through these practical insights, participants gain knowledge that can be applied to improve chemical handling practices, reduce risks, and strengthen compliance within their facilities.

The course is fully online and self-paced, allowing participants to begin at their convenience and progress according to their schedule. The technical content is designed to be engaging and practical, incorporating activities, quizzes, case studies, and downloadable resource materials to support effective learning.

IMPORTANT - Registration Process

1. Sign-up on the ZDHC Academy platform.
2. Login to NOTES and purchase the Training using a Credit /Debit Card or Bank Transfer. (Please note – the ZDHC Certification fee is included in the training charges)
3. Launch the training through the ‘My Courses’ tab on the NOTES Platform. Participants are required to complete the training within 30 days from the launch date.
4. Complete the final Exam on the ZDHC Academy (Maximum 2 Attempts; Benchmark score 75%).
5. Upon successfully passing the Exam, obtain the Certificate from the ZDHC Academy.
