ZDHC Training is a specialized capacity-building program developed to help individuals and organizations understand and implement the principles of Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC). The course is designed for professionals working in the textile, apparel, footwear, and related manufacturing industries who are responsible for chemical management, compliance, sustainability, production, EHS, and quality assurance. It provides practical knowledge and industry-aligned guidance on managing chemicals responsibly, reducing environmental impact, and meeting international buyer and brand requirements. The training covers key topics such as ZDHC MRSL requirements, chemical risk assessment, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical storage and handling, inventory management, wastewater considerations, and audit preparedness.
There are no mandatory prerequisites for attending this training. However, basic knowledge of factory operations, chemical usage processes, environmental compliance, occupational health and safety, or quality management will be beneficial. This course is especially valuable for professionals working in EHS, production, maintenance, laboratory, compliance, merchandising, sustainability, and management roles within textile and garment industries.
