Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

ZDHC Academy Learner FAQ:

1. How do I login for the ZDHC Academy?

The ZDHC Academy is accessible via: academy.roadmaptozero.com. All the trainer accounts are pre-installed, so you don’t have to register again for the Academy. We will provide you with your login. Please let us know if you did not receive your login details yet via training@zdhc.org. For future reference, should you forget your password, you can reset it via the Forgot your password link.

2. I already have login details for the previous ZDHC Academy, do I need to register again?

No, you don’t need to register again. If you already have login details for the old ZDHC Academy, you will have received an email from ZDHC to reset your login details in the new ZDHC Academy.

If you did not receive an email please also check your spam folder.

In case of additional questions about the new login details please send an email to training@zdhc.org.

3. I can’t log in as I forgot my login details. How can I reset my password and/or username?

If you have forgotten your password, please click on Forgot your password? Type in your email address. You will get a mail with your new temporary password. Please make sure to change the temporary password, once you’ve logged in to the site by going to My Profile.

Please note, your username is your email address.

4. How can I change my settings?

You can change your settings (e.g. password) under My Profile in the menu, once you’ve logged in. To make any changes, please click on Edit Profile.

5. How can I change the language of the ZDHC Academy?

The ZDHC Academy is currently only available in English. However, the course details and information (including the exam and questionnaires) are in the language of the specific course, which is set by the ZDHC Accredited Training Provider (ATP).

6. Why should I sign up for the ZDHC Academy?

All training information, course dates and details are available on the ZDHC Academy. It is not possible to register for a ZDHC Course and follow face-to-face training without registering on the ZDHC Academy platform. Furthermore, to receive a Certificate of Completion for a ZDHC Training you have to fill in a pre-course questionnaire, feedback survey and pass an exam on the ZDHC Academy.

7. What sort of training can I find on the ZDHC Academy?

The ZDHC Academy has several trainings on offer at the moment and more will be added later in the year.

8. Where can I find upcoming training sessions?

There are different ways to see upcoming sessions:

  1. On the home page, click on the Courses tab in the menu. You will come to an overview of all upcoming training sessions.

  2. On the home page, scroll down and you will find all upcoming sessions listed per course category. If you click on available sessions in your preferred category you will find more details about the training topic and the upcoming sessions. ​​​​​​​
9. Does ZDHC offer online training?

Currently, ZDHC is not offering online training.  If you want to stay informed, you can subscribe to our newsletter for further developments.

10. I can’t remember which sessions I booked, can I find them somewhere?

You can find all your booked sessions under My sessions in the menu. You can see which sessions you have registered for and can also find a summary of the ones you already completed.

11. Where can I find my achieved/completed learnings?

If you go to My Sessions you can see which sessions you have booked, which sessions were cancelled and which sessions you already attended. For the sessions you attended you are able to download a certificate after filling in the feedback survey and passing the exam.

12. How can I sign up for a course?

To find a course and sign up, see question 8.

To register, please click on Sign up for this session. You will then have the chance to book the session by first choosing the session that suits you best, e.g. the session that takes place closest to you. You don’t have to fill out any additional information, as certain personal information (including your name and your email address) will be forwarded to the ATP who runs the training.

Upon signing up, the system will prompt you to fill in a pre-course questionnaire. More about this questionnaire can be found under point 14. When you register for a training, the ATP of the specific training will contact you directly for the final details of your booking. You will pay the session fee directly to the ATP, prior to attending the face-to-face session.

Please note, you will only be fully registered for the session once you have paid the session fee and the ATP has confirmed your payment through the ZDHC Academy.  

13. How can I pay the session fee to the Accredited Training Providers (ATPs)?

When signing up for a specific training session you will be contacted by the ATP to complete the enrolment. The payment of the session fee will then take place between the ATP and you as the learner, outside of the ZDHC Academy platform. The price of the training course is indicated in the course information.

Payment methods such as bank transfer and/or credit card payment might differ per ATP. Therefore please contact the ATP directly if you have additional questions about the payment of the session.

14. What’s the difference between the pre-course questionnaire and the exam?

The pre-course questionnaire is not a test and you will not be graded based on your answers. The pre-course questionnaire is created to gain information about your confidence in the topic directly related to the training course you have signed up for. Based on this information, the ATP can prepare the session according to the knowledge level of the participants. It is a self-evaluation, so please be honest and mark the right fields.

The exam is a formal test that will be graded based on your answers. You will have two (2) attempts to do the exam. The pass rate of the exam is 75% or above. Passing the exam is mandatory to receive a Certificate of Completion. All questions in the exam need to be answered. The exam will be available to you in the ZDHC Academy Platform for 14 days from the moment you completed the face-to-face training session. After completing the exam you will find your exam result under My Sessions.

15. What happens if I don’t pass the exam after the two attempts?

If you have not passed the exam after two (2) attempts you will not receive a Certificate of Completion. However, you can enrol for a new face-to-face session and repeat the course, including the questionnaires and exams. You will get your Certificate of Completion upon fully attending the session and passing the exam.

16. What happens if I did not complete the exam within 14 days after the training course has taken place?

You can contact the ATP to reopen two (2) more attempts of the exam for you for an additional 14 days. There is an administrative fee of EUR 70, which is paid directly to the ATP. If you meet all training requirements stated in Question 14, you will be eligible to receive your Certificate of Completion.

17. Where can I download the certificate?

After you have filled out the pre-course questionnaire, the feedback survey, attended the face-to-face session and passed the exam, you will find the certificate ready to download on the training platform under My Sessions.

18. How long will the certificate be valid?

The Certificate of Completion is valid for 2 years.

19. How can I renew my certificate?

Your certificate can be renewed after 2 years by attending additional training sessions.

20. Are the training sessions all in English?

No, the ZDHC training sessions are not all in English. The ATPs also conduct training in local languages. Currently, we provide training in Chinese, English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. The pre-course questionnaire, feedback survey and exam will be in the language of the training session.

All trainings are provided in the local language, if you can’t find your language, that means that we don’t offer it yet. In the future, we will be adding training courses in your language to the training offer. Therefore please contact us (training@zdhc.org) to let us know which language is of your interest.  

21. How can I cancel a session and what happens?

Please send an email to the ATP hosting the session inform him about your cancellation. He will confirm the cancellation and update your session status to cancelled.

Please note it is not possible to receive a reimbursement from ZDHC for the training. Each ATP has a cancellation policy, therefore, make sure to connect with the ATP hosting the session to learn more about the payment conditions of the training sessions.

22. What happens if an ATP cancels a training session?

In an unfortunate circumstance that an ATP has to cancel a training session, they will contact all the affected participants at the earliest opportunity stating the reason(s) why the training has been cancelled. The ATP will be able to provide you with the details of their payment conditions. Either way, the ATP is responsible for resolving the issue with you directly.

23. I have attended a training session, which was paid for by my existing company, and have successfully obtained a Certification of Completion. However, I will be working with a new company soon within the certificate validity period. Will the certificate still be valid?

Yes, regardless of who has paid for the training (either yourself or a company), the certification is on a personal basis and will continue to be valid within the validity period even if you move to a different company. You will need to update your information on the My Profile section.
